Before leaving a review, I read some previous comments to understand why the average rating seemed, in my personal experience, lower than the level of service actually provided. For me, a hotel is not meant to feel like home - it simply needs to be clean and have friendly, welcoming staff, and that's exactly what matters most. It's true that the room where I stayed was simple. I read someone describing it as 'spartan', although I've seen truly spartan hotels and I wouldn't define this one that way - simple is the right word. The bed was comfortable, perhaps the wardrobe could be improved in the future, there was a desk with a chair, and the bathroom included a bidet and a very functional shower. My room in the guesthouse even had a small private outdoor area, which was very pleasant and convenient. Now let's move on to what matters most to me personally: cleanliness and kindness. The room and common areas (including the breakfast room) were spotless and cared for daily, and the staff were warm and helpful - some of them genuinely wonderful people to meet. I would especially like to compliment Manuela, because with her smile, kindness and friendliness she always managed to put me in a good mood, and that truly makes a difference in someone's day - it should never be taken for granted. The gentleman who checked me in was also extremely kind from the very beginning, although unfortunately I don't know his name. More generally, every request - even before being asked - was handled proactively, professionally and warmly. For me, this hotel deserves a full 5 stars. If I had wanted a luxurious room with elaborate furnishings, I would simply have chosen a higher category and spent more. One last note: the location is convenient and peaceful. Well done - you can truly see the passion you put into your work. Keep it up!
